Living in London, we sometimes forget the hidden gems that this city has to offer. We take things for granted and rarely set some time to discover the wonders of London, always blaming our busy work life or personal life. We rarely take a minute to appreciate that we live in the most beautiful city in the world.
Here are three things you could do at the weekend:
1. Enjoy a Starbucks coffee on the steps next to Cutty Sark.
Weather permitting, you could drink your favourite Starbucks coffee from the Greenwich branch and enjoy it on the steps next to Cutty Sark. An amazing coffee, a great view, and time to yourself – what could be better?
2. Attend the California: Designing Freedom exhibition
Interested in Californian tech and culture? A lot of the things we love and know come from there – and there’s still time to find out the wonders in the “California: Designing Freedom” exhibition at the Design Museum in London. It ends on the 17th of October 2017, so this is the last weekend you can visit it! The Museum is open daily between 10am and 6pm, so make sure you leave enough time for wandering around.
3. The Camille Walala Splice building in Old Street
On the corner of Old Street and Singer Street, local artist Camille Walala completely transformed the headquarters of Splice. Finished in 2015 in only 10 days, the building is now an iconic sight of London. At least on Instagram. Don’t forget to use #WalalaDreamComeTrueBuilding!
